Our assignment for production was unusual at least - please prepare our down jackets Lofer, Livigno, Moritz, and Valbella in white. Just one piece from each model. In production, they probably thought we lost our minds.

When these four samples arrived, the result was better than our skeptical expectations. Although the jackets really looked "puffy", or as if someone had just completed a mining job, they were surprisingly interesting, and certainly didn't look like a jacket we wouldn't wear under any circumstances. But that's a different story.

This jacket will never go on sale. The reason why we made these four pieces is much simpler - to show you what a down jacket looks like from the inside. Those beautiful fluffy and warm jackets hide one big "dirty" secret inside. Under the colored surface, they look just like this, one would say ugly and tasteless.

Why do some down jackets look dirty?

The reason is prosaic - goose feathers are not white. The feathers of the goose play in various colors, from glowing white, through yellow, silver, gray, and brown, to black. And although we try to make the feathers as bright as possible, the result cannot be 100% guarded.

In fact, the dark feathers that shine through are approximately 0.5% of the total filling. However, even this minimum volume is rich enough for the jacket to get such a specific character. As a result, the jacket, according to your perception, is either full of character or "dirty". The dark outer material covers this apparent imperfection, the lighter colors not.

What is the solution?

Quite simple. Take this delicate, beautiful goose feather and let it chemically bleach. Completely simple and nothing non-standard in the outdoor industry.

But we are committed. To ourselves and you. That we will make the best jackets we can. And loving nature has never been and will not be just a phrase. We therefore oppose chemical bleaching.

We understand that this effect can hinder someone. That's why some jackets are returned, and we refund the money without hesitation. Therefore, we prefer outer materials in darker colors, where this effect is invisible.

But this is nature, this is what it looks like, this is how it behaves. She created this amazing thermal insulator herself and the side effect, which is a few dark feathers, is a welcome reminder.
